Ben and I met in June of 2005 while living in Bend, Oregon. Ben had just returned home from serving a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in West Virginia and I was working for Summit Accommodators as an Exchange Assistant. We became acquainted through the singles group of our church and soon began dating. Ben moved to Rexburg, Idaho to go to school a few weeks later so most of our relationship developed over the phone while we were a state away. 
I must admit I was not 100% interested in the beginning, but after many nights of late conversations and with Ben's persistence I soon fell head-over-heels. He proposed in July (as a complete shock to me), after only six week
s from when we initially met and we were married in December in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Soon after, we moved back to Bend to work for a few months and save some money. In April, we moved 
back to Idaho Falls and bought our first home which we planned to fix up and sell as quickly as we could. I was fortunate to transfer my job with AmeriTitle and was even promoted to be a Title Examiner. In February of 2006, we sold our first home and bought our second which we are currently remodeling. On December 9, 2007, we were blessed with the birth of our first baby boy, Porter. He is such a joy and we're having so much fun discovering his new tricks every day. And that pretty much brings you up to date!

Ahhhhh! Old times, good times!! I am so excited you started a blog now we can exchange stories and keep up to date more often.
