Pacifier Challenge

I set Porter's pacifier (or as Ben likes to call it, his "plug") in front of him so that he would really have to reach for it and before I knew it, he had it and was trying VERY hard to get it in his mouth without using his hands.
Victory! What a talented little man we have.

WIC Prize

I attended a WIC class last week and got this t-shirt as a "prize" because I'm still nursing Porter... I thought it was funny and he seems pretty happy in it too!

Rolling Over

I left Porter on his back this morning and found him a few minutes later like this... AH! Now we really can't leave him out of our sight. Lately, he's been doing lots and lots of talking to himself and reaching for everything! He's not quite 5 months yet, but he sure is strong.

Bath Time

Porter loves bath time... if only our sink grew bigger with him! Porter is now 4 1/2 months!! He weighs 15lbs 10oz and is 25 inches long, right on track. Even though he still has a cold, our baby is so very happy and smiles and laughs all the time.

Baby Me

I was going through some old boxes and came across some baby pictures of me. Scary, huh? Porter looks more like me than I thought!

Mirror Joy

Porter discovered himself in mirrors and he thinks he's so cute!! He's right!

Hands On

He's grabbing things and loving it! It sure makes entertaining him a little easier!

Cuddle Bug

Our sweet baby loves to cuddle things before he falls asleep. He must have it right by his face!

Sitting Up

Porter is trying very hard to sit up these days. He is constantly using his stomach muscles. Here he is sitting up with a little help. We can't believe he will be 4 months next week. Time goes by too quickly.

Puppy Coat

Porter was enjoying the outdoors yesterday in his cute puppy coat... thanks Krista!!

Cute Little Body

I thought this outfit "snug" to his body very well. Ben and I keep saying this is our favorite baby stage. Such a cute little body!

Even though you can hear his VERY stuffy nose, here is Porter doing some talking this morning. We always get the most out of him in the morning. He usually wakes up quite happy... he must get that from his daddy. As you can see from this video, he loves to eat his blanket. Yum Yum!

All Night Sleeping

Porter slept for 7 hours last night, ate for about 15 minutes, slept another 4 hours, ate for about 5 minutes, then slept another hour before I took this picture and he woke up... oops!
